Elegant and expressive, with layers of fruit and sweetness supported by a clean, structured finish.
Why this coffee is a little different
This coffee comes from Kigeyo Washing Station, one of six washing stations operated by the COOPAC cooperative on the shores of Lake Kivu in western Rwanda.
Thousands of smallholder farmers contribute cherry to Kigeyo, where careful washing and drying help create the clarity and balance that Rwanda's coffees are famous for. Behind the coffee is a cooperative deeply invested in its community, supporting local infrastructure, farming education, and environmental sustainability.
The result is a coffee that reflects both place and people, with all the sweetness, brightness, and refinement Rwanda is known for.
How to brew it
Brew it the way you normally would. This coffee shines across espresso, filter, plunger, and batch brew, with different aspects of its fruit and sweetness appearing depending on your brew method.
